Bamboo owner Patti Habib pulled together an amazing evening of food, friends, music and memories on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the Lulu Lounge in Toronto. Signifcantly, June 7th was the date when the Tree Top Lounge at the Bamboo opened every year, celebrating of the warm weather on the patio.

The evening at the Lulu Lounge was hot with many friends enjoying the sounds of Soul Stew and the Sattelites, filling the dance floor and engaging in conversations throughout the club.

OCAD Professor of Popular Culture, Kym Pruesse operated the audio-visual displays of the Bamboo in its heyday bringing back warm memories.

Soul Stew is: Michael Dunston/Vocals
