It's probably a good thing I am terrible at starts, otherwise I might have been in a worse position when this went down. A rider goes down around the 0:55 mark while trying to make a very early pass for the lead. He tucks the front and runs off the track. The rider in front of me anticipates that the bike may slide back onto the track, and he checks up. I have to avoid him, and I run wide and target-fixate on the crash. Fortunately, I bring it back in and stay on track. Then, I come very close to another rider running wide around the 1:30 mark. As soon as I get around him, another rider low-sides in to him. The rider that low-sided in to the slower rider had to take a life flight out. I literally cleared the fiasco by a few feet. The race is red flagged a few turns later.
