There's reason for them to blame games. I myself made a research paper about this incident and Jack Thompson. All sides had to have been investigated, and it appears they weren't. Apparently Moore had a rough upbringing switching foster homes, etc. and played GTA for an outlet of his frustration. When he was taken in for questioning, the opportunity presented itself and he took it. Nicely done, but it could've been longer, assuming your report was allowed more time.

They were wrong to blame Doom for columbine. The kids original plan was to blow up the school but when the bombs didn't go off they resorted to their backup plan which was to shoot people.

I've shot a real pistol and at close range it can be easy to hit a target (just like with any gun). My point was that he did not learn how to shoot a gun from grand theft auto or any similar game.

its really not that hard to shoot with a pistol from close range you dont even really need to aim, i have a paintball pistol that shoots just like a real one. its really easy. but really that kid deserved what he got, he robably thought he was being gangsta. poor cops
