NBA hall of famer Bill Bradley, currently on a book tour, describes the intense Knicks vs Bullets game in the 1971 NBA playoffs and that one unforgettable shot...
@Americansquirm we all love Bill Bradley. somehow i think he feels terrible of what had happened in 1971's 7th game. it was a heartbreaking loss. no one holds it against him. the KNICKS gave all their effort. they were injured & sadley the Bullets really defeated them badly in Baltimore. it was sad but still we loved those KNICKS.
@BobReidy thanks for replying. come to think of it there are more atheltes who have messed up not just a game but a whole series. could you just imagine that sits on your head for life ? i.e isiah thomas in 1987 game 5 against boston threw a pass away to l. bird. in 1984 game 2 championship j. worhy threw a pass away to & again in game 4. that game m. johnson & wothy both missed 4 crucial free throws. the worst of it was b. buckner. in 2008 he came to boston & the fans booed him. enjoy****
He seems like a nice guy.You have a point about Starks and Buckner.I remember Smith in 1993.Heartbreaking.I loved Marv Alberts call on the play though.
@BobReidy well it's not the same. KNICK fans support Bradley. the BULLETS defense stopped Frazier so he had to pass it quick. buckner & starks could have avoided those errors. don't forget charles smith in 1993. that 1971 7th game was a sad loss. we would of liked to see the KNICKS play the BUCKS. that would of been an exciting series. i've met Bradley in the 70's & gotten his autograph. he obliged, smiled, & i said thank you. a truly nice guy. lots of people said Bradley is a very nice guy.
I dont know why the guy asked him that question. Its like asking Bill Buckner about the ball that went through his legs in the 1986 World Serries or John Starks about his 2-18 performance in game 7 of the 1994 NBA Finals.I am sure Bradley feels bad enough about the miss.

Thats New York fans for you.Ask John Starks about how often he hears about his 2-18 shooting in Game 7 of the 1994 NBA Finals.

Minor correction: Final score of 7th game was 93-91. (not 92-91 as Dollar Bill states at 2:25)
