At around 9:30am, an NS MOW truck approached the White Sulphur Road crossing and pulled off the tracks. They driver came and talked to us, saying in the most polite way that I never expected to hear, that we needed to leave. He knew we were kids and that we weren't doing anything, but he was just doing his job. He was incredibly nice though, as he joked with my about having Georgia Tech stuff on my Jeep. He let us stay for the next train through, then we gladly headed out!
At 9:52am, NS 203 zipped through the White Sulphur Road crossing and contined south to meet a couple of locals in Gainesville. Led by NS C40-9Ws 9596 and 9655 and NS SD70M 2639, NS 203 saluted us with a couple of toots and was on its way.
Just a side note, NS public relations are incredible. This man was the nicest employee I've ever encountered, besides my Amtrak car attendant on the way back from New York in November of 2010. If I have to be asked to leave, this is the guy I want doing it!
