i've argued this case myself, havign a massive blade isnt really needed, even more so over here in the UK

Enjoyed the discussion on the differences between large and small knives. The best knife is the knife used.
Nice work on your sheath's.
Have a great week.

Really nice Discussion. I really like your wooden sheath. And like you said, it really gives it a nice incognito appearance. Plus I imagine that there is a comfort to the wood as opposed to having plastic and tape hanging around your neck. Even though I have other knives too, I always like have a Mora around... : )

Really enjoy your channel, just discovered it. I have a Mora classic #2 but I'm going to pick up a #1 as well for hiking with. Your Sheaths really inspire me. My current sheath is similar to your non wooden one. I run a modified version of Cody Lundin's(read his book a few years back) mora set up.
I'm surprisingly bad at sharpening these knives though, I got a Tri-hone and Just can't seem to get it shaving-sharp - more practice is needed I suppose. Thanks again.

@Jeremysw2 The S1 (Morakniv™ Classic Original 1) original is a fine knife. I have one, but I prefer the Morakniv™ Classic 1 to be a better all-around survival knife. If you have the Triceps (Tri-hone) sharpener you should be able to hone the edge w/o any problem. It is not preferable to get a knife to "shaving" or "razor" sharp, because the edge is more vunerable to damage. It should be sharp enough to cut the edge of newspaper.

@MrPdante I have a lot of friends that have Schrade knives that were given to them by Grandpas and/or Uncles. Ti Yuska (Live Free) ~Bear
