During the review process, the first stage of application design begins with low-fidelity prototyping. Low-fidelity prototyping is a process by which you create a mock-up of your application using simple "analog" tools, such as paper, pencils, scissors, crayons, and markers, or special mockup software, such as Balsamiq Mockups (www.balsamiq.com). Balsamiq Mockups is a rapid wireframing tool.
For a brief demonstration, watch the video entitled An Overview of the Balsamiq Mockup Tools to learn more.
