Enough of the fighting! The Beatles and Monkees respected each other and that is that... I love both groups and they both put out some great shit and Donnie is a douche bag for trying to control them... I wish that mike would have punched that fucker.. If the Beatles and the monkees ever did get to play that together it would be magic...

@WileERobby jesus christ dude calm down......its 45 yrs ago----beatles did their thing and the monkees did theirs.......wtf right? beleive me , do some research there were many more bands that had a lot more session help than the monkees.......and when they did play as a real group they had their own unique sound...hellz no there wasnt any penny lanes or strawberry fields commin outta the monkees but they did some cool stuff as well

Excuse me Beatards, but the Beatles were fans of the Monkees. The Monkees hung out with them in London while they were recording Sgt. Pepper. IF you need proof of this, check out the video for "A Day In The Life" (It's in the Beatles Anthology and obtainable legally) and hey, if you pause it, you will see that Mike Nesmith was THERE IN THE STUDIO when they were recording A Day in the Life!)
