LAX - Volaris

A new airline has arrived at Los Angeles International Airport.
Volaris, the third-largest airline in Mexico -- and that nation's leading low-fare carrier -- has touched down at LAX. At a special welcome event at the airport for their inaugural flight to California, Volaris talked to Aerochannel about their plans for the U.S. market .

The airline has been given permission to fly into Mexico City, but so far, Volaris has not made any definite announcement about its plans there. We should hear something soon.

Volaris now flies LA to 4 cities: Guadalajara, Toluca, Morelia, and Zacatecas. Perhaps they'll consider the route, since they would not have much competition. I think Mr. Beltranena is a smart businessman -- and he was fun to interview! -- Darren.

Hopefully they initiate a route of

Los Angeles - Culiacán.

Because AeroMéxico has semi abandoned this route , and Mexicana did abandoned this route completely.
