A new airline has arrived at Los Angeles International Airport.
Volaris, the third-largest airline in Mexico -- and that nation's leading low-fare carrier -- has touched down at LAX. At a special welcome event at the airport for their inaugural flight to California, Volaris talked to Aerochannel about their plans for the U.S. market .

What can travelers expect from this growing airline?

  • The airline has been given permission to fly into Mexico City, but so far, Volaris has not made any definite announcement about its plans there. We should hear something soon.

  • Volaris now flies LA to 4 cities: Guadalajara, Toluca, Morelia, and Zacatecas. Perhaps they'll consider the route, since they would not have much competition. I think Mr. Beltranena is a smart businessman -- and he was fun to interview! -- Darren.
