gotta luv how wwe always act like we hav amnesia . i guess we forgot hh lost 10 yrs ago to taker. we forgot kane use to be "burnt n disfigured "and voice box. he also set JR on fire. speaking of JR i remeber in 199 wen hhh "broke" his arm and also the numerous times he kicked his ass but JR forgot about tht and he praises him. Funny how the babyface characters r cool wit randy orton after he was a heel 2 yrs ago n punted the mcmahon family. heels liked it but faces forgot bout tht day SHM WWE

1. The undertaker is getting to old for wrestling (injuries and what not) and they think that Having him vs HHH at wrestlemania would be a great way to end his carrier not to mention his streak

2. HHH is going to leave the WWE for some reason and saying that "this is the only thing I have left" so if he doesnt win he'll be like "I didn't do the last thing so I'm out"

That's just some thoughts ! The second one feels really shady but the first seems more likely

@aspenaspen If 'Taker wins this match, then your first point wont be valid. I highly doubt 'Taker will lose this match. I think WWE wants to have 'Taker finish his career 20-0 at 'Mania. They want to have people believe he can lose, but at the end of the day, I think that he'll always win at Wrestlemania.

Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 21 in 2005 was the last time that I thought someone had a legitimate chance to beat the Undertaker. Going into that Wrestlemania, I thought Orton might win.

Meh, most fans today probably started watching in 2005 so yeah, they're not gonna know much anyway. It is funny how they are trying to forget about that WM 17 match because that was one of the best Wrestlemania matches as well.

You know I thought long and hard at why either wrestlers talked about it. And what really got me was the a fact that when I was looking at the undertaker promos they showed almost all of His past opponents at wrestlermania and I never saw WM17 and I had to laugh about it. I thought I was the only person to have notice that.

I may have an answer to the ignoring of the previous history between hhh and taker. i was watching the documentary on the ultimate warrior just a while ago and there was a part when hogan and warrior are in wcw warrior is doing a face 2 face promo w hogan and he brags abt beating him in wmania 6. immeadiatly the doc cuts to a clip of hogan an bischoff talking abt how they couldnt believe he brought that up and how that was the number 1 "no no" in wrestling and how vince is probably rotfl abt it
