Michele had a bad fall on White Heat at Sunday River, Maine. White heat is a 2x diamond with a 44 degree pitch at the point where she fell and slid 100 yards. The Sunday River Ski Patrol are terrific.

last time i got a ride from ski patrol at sunday river was when I BROKE MY DAMN COLLER BONE!

For anyone who's wondering, I'm Michele (the one who's dad managed to capture the whole humiliating ride on the sled, but not the really awesome yardsale that led up to it!)
First, thanks to Sunday River Ski Patrol...they were great and helpful!
Anyhow...The official verdict is that I managed to tear my MCL and will be in a brace through the summer. No pain, just a hassle...sure can't complain. I'll be back next season!
Ski a great run on White Heat for me!
