  • Thanks for posting this film and making it available, it is one of the best films I have seen. I am a big Tarkovsky fan and I had never heard of Konstantin Lopushansky until very recently. These films are incredible. Would you know where I could find a copy of Lopushansky's "Russkaya Simfoniya"?

  • @EusaMoss

Unfortunatly YouTube doesn't support the direct links so try "Русская симфония arjlover" in Google. 2nd link from above. But the film without English subtitles. ;-)

  • Anyone seen Stalker from 1979?

  • @EusaMoss Found this, but you have to sign up, so I couldn't see it: tracktvlinks(dot)com/watch-russkaya-simfoniya-1994

  • Love what I've seen of Lopushanksy this and Letters From A Dead Man..

  • Hey, that's Alfred Schnittke's Concerto Grosso in the beginning. Nice soundtrack so far.

  • This movie desperately, desperately needed an editor. The first hour-and-a-half runs on interminably with very little of any consequence happening. Being Russian, or otherwise Soviet, does not give you the divine right to bore the living shit out of your audience!

  • From this movie, one would say that at the end of the Soviet era, Russians had no idea of what was a religious experience. Maybe only a literary idea of a religious experience, far from reality. The religious experience makes one more gracious and harmonic, not someone thrashing about. It preseves your ordinary gifts, elevating you above them, it doesn't lower you below rationality, making you a babbling possessed person.

  • waste of time & money.never see a stupid movie like this in my life.fack-it

  • interesting film, a little over my head though I think. thanks for providing it.

  • @PyccoTypucmo brilliant! thank you! Unfortunately, I need the English subs....are you aware of any files with English subs?
