The ultimate Every Day Carry. Guns, knives, gear are all great to carry on your person daily. However, if you don't have the correct mindset to go along with your gear, you might as well leave it at home. In this "philosophy" video, I discuss your most important piece of EDC, your mind.

  • LOL! I'm exactly the same way in restaurants. My wife knows too and she always lets me take my preferred spot. Being aware has kept me out of countless situations. I can't agree with you more. It really helps to diffuse situations before they become a situation. Great vid. Enjoyed it.

  • @Cr0cket20You got it! The wife has to know too, so she don't look at you crazy when you say "could we maybe sit over there"? Wow, I'm honored to have you comment on one of my vids. Thank you so, so much for watching.

  • Great video! I feel a lot of people forget to think and then become reactive instead of proactive!

  • @kcrotsley Well said! Thanks for watching!

  • @adventurek9 Interesting stuff, I'll have to get my cop buddy to show me that one!

We learned a move in the police academy on how to disarm someone with a gun to the back of your head. It takes but a split-second, and if performed even half-right, could save your life. If performed properly could not only disarm the bad guy, but also leave him with a broken finger/wrist, broken nose, unconscious, or even dead. It's likely similar to a Krav Magra move.

  • @adventurek9 Good point about the urinal, definitely a compromised position there. It would probably be a good idea to use a stall when available.

  • Really great points. There is a ton to be said about situational awareness. I've often thought of doing a vid on this as well.

Sit. awareness - I always sit with my back to a wall, and eyes towards the door/register.

Course of action - have a strategy in case you are being robbed when you're standing at the urinal. Talk about being most vulnerable.

  • @SnakeEyesWife Thanks!!
