Queen & Annie Lennox & David Bowie - Under Pressure - HD

No dia 20 de Abril de 1992, várias bandas de Rock que faziam sucesso naquela época e amigos reuniram-se no Estádio de Wembley em Londres para prestarem homenagem a Freddie Mercury, vocalista da banda inglesa Queen, falecido no dia 24 de Novembro de 1991 em consequência de uma broncopneumonia causada pela AIDS. O objetivo do concerto foi celebrar a vida, os sonhos e o trabalho do lendário vocalista dos Queen.
E o teve as participações dos amigos pessoais de Freddie Mercury como: David Bowie e Annie Lennox homenageando com a bela música "Under Pressure".

Annie Lennox definitely outshone David Bowie here. Not that she meant to, but she is an incredible performer and maybe even Bowie wasn't expecting such a thrillingly dynamic (and somwehat intimate!) performance from her . I can't imagine he's used to being outperformed in this way! ....given that he's one of the best theatrical pop stars there's ever been...when Annie Lennox is on top form she's something else.

I just heard his new song Where Are We Now for the first time on the radio last week and thought it was fantastic. I had no idea who it was so I looked it up online by typing in some of the lyrics and it made total sense. Great new song. I actually have to wonder though, unless she's really just mentally unstable and out there, if Annie Lennox never looks at some of her old wardrobe, makeup, and hair styles and thinks "what was I smoking!" Beats today's plain clothes slob bands, though.
