Broken Hearts- Chapter One [Denise]

Story History:
Nick and Ariena used to be best friends, they did everything together. Ariena considered Kevin and Joe her brothers. But when Nick and Ariena entered High School, something happened and their friendship was lost. Now, they're both 16 in grade 11. This is where the story starts. Also, The Jonas family is waay rich :)

*Ariena's POV*
I walked home from school, as usual. I took the long way through the woods. It was embarassing that I had to walk. Even more embarassing that the only reason I was in private school was because the Vice Principal was my uncle. I was looking for a job so I could get my own car, but for the time being, I was broke.
I turned up a trail that let me onto main street. I went into the community building to check the job ads. I filed through the old ones; Dog Walker, Babysitter, Cook, etc. I was reading the bottoms of the pages, where the pay was. One made me stop dead in my tracks. $40 an hour. Forty dollars? For one hour? What kind of job is this? I tore down the paper to read it more clearly. It read: Housekeeper Wanted
No experience necessary. Every weekday from four to six. $40 an hour.

Are you kidding me? Forty dollars and hour? Five days a week, two hours a day. That's ten hours a week. And four hundred dollars! At that rate, I'd have my car in no time. I wrote down the number and walked back home.

When I got inside, I threw my bag onto the couch and and sat down at the small kitchen table. I picked up the phone and dialed the number. It seemed famaliar for some reason, but all the numbers were similar around here.
"Hello?" A warm voice answered.
"Hello, I'm calling about the housekeeping job."
"Oh, that's great, you're the first! Do you think you could come by tonight? Get the basics down?"
I smiled, this was easy, "Yeah, sure. Where do you live?"
The voice sighed in relief, "1018 Sparrow Lane. Oh, by the way, My name's Denise. Denise Jonas."
