That's true, but not for the jingoistic and racist reasons you think. Most immigrants to the USA came here out of desperation because they couldn't find work at home and didn't have many skills. Castro's regime targeted successful people who already had the skills to make it big.

Could the lack of toilet paper have something to do with americans putting sanctions on a tiny island. Isnt that more of a thing to feel shame for americans than for cubans .

Actually, it does have to do with the American embargo, but not for the reasons that you think. Cuba is small enough that it could easily thrive on Latin American and European (& Canadian) business and tourism. The American embargo on Cuba gives Castro a scapegoat on which to blame his own failed economic policies. I am very anti-embargo, but also anti-Castro. I'm a realist.

so it's safe to say, like MOST everything else, cubans don't use toilet paper...cause they can't get it OR buy it? ...I've been told cubans get a "ration-card" from Uncle fidel for their food, and that doesn't cover even a month...something else I was told....Beef IS ILLEGAL in cuba (except for the tourists) .thinking about it for a second, I don't know why some people there prop-up and follow that asshole castro (or even the communist party for that matter) he's starved them for 50 years

@chsn09 true story my dude... yeah a lot do good over seas like in africa as you mentioned and also america and europe as well... some cuban doctor's also are found in other countries in latin america... but your right lots of them are helping in africa as well a lot of the british... but what's sad is that most of the african born doctor's actually leave africa to go to europe to make more money as a RN or a MD... but most who feel guilty return back to africa to help out their people...

@nnnnnsssssssssllllln Yeah you are actually right my dude! Cuban doctors are in high demands in the USA and especially in Africa! Many of the doctors in many African countries are CUBAN believe it or not and helping people there get back to good health!

umm dude cuban doctor's are some of the best considering the limited devices they have to work with in cuba... most do great in the U.S. and over seas if they make it there... also we are the ones in america most likely to over succeed expectations of being sucessful out of any other latin american groups in the states... most latino laywer's in the states = cubans, doctors = cubans, executives = cubans, dude the list continues on...
