The opening comments on the video state "The Jet 1220 has a 3 Horse motor". it is actually a 3/4 horse motor.

I'm gonna buy it soon, but first need to organize some money... :P In Poland these lathes are pretty expensive (about $600-$700 :-/ ).

I´d love to see how a craftman makes a pair of drumsticks using this th JET mini lathe, can you make it possible and post it? Thanx so much, that would be an excellent incentive for us drummers who always think in bussiness.

The Jet 12"x20" Lathe (stock no. 708376)has a list price of $453. That said, JET is in the middle of their winter rebate promotion and it's on sale for $329, with a $25 mail-in-rebate. That's $304 if my math is right.
