@MrPutz5 Well you don't literally smash it with a hammer. Just tap on the segment where it's plugged to try to loosen up what evers blocking it. That's all ive ever done. I didn't say they did have a reducer i just said thats usually where they get plugged.

Thats a way to do it yea... not a bad idea. You'll loose a bit of power though...

looks like you guys are using a metal ended hose. Cant you guys get a discharge hose, much safer

that would suck if the front pump got plugged up. lol

@CJBroesky It would suck at any time,but it would be relatively easy to connect the front pump back to its own hopper and water wash out the blockage !

@MrPutz5 They usually get plugged up in the reducer. Unplugging one can be a pain in the ass. First you have to reverse the pump to take the pressure out of the lines and then you have to take a hammer to the line or segment that's plugged to break up the blockage. I've done it and it ain't fun

@CJBroesky These were running at 5" all the way so no reducer and less chance of a blockage.I don' t recommend using a hammer on a pipe as it can fracture later ,also if you dent it 'it will accelerate wear accross the dent leading to a blowout.
