Terrafish-I agree that religion stinks...it is man made and causes much trouble.I would argue, however,seeking to know God is different.If I die and find out there is no heaven or hell..well- so be it I have lost nothing.However,if there is a hell,then you risk everything.Thats too big a risk, and not logical to me.

Inga, that is "Pascal's Wager" and is a very poor way to make a decision about a personal philosophy and belief system that is meant to influence your entire life, that of your children, and that of the community. When millions of people choose to believe in god "just in case" we get huge repercussions like wars in Iraq, no stem-cell research, and denial of global warming. There is no god to help us out of our problems, and we need science to help us figure all this stuff out.

Although this video is sooo pretty, it has no logic.

It states: since people who manipulate a religion to do their evil deeds, religion must be evil. Say what???

With this kind of idiotic logic, we should get rid of schools because some people use their education to kill or exploit others

Maybe we should stop feeding the poor since some people who receive assistance are not poor

or maybe we should burn every book since some books teach violence&death to others
