Greetings from Earth

In 1977 NASA launched two Voyager spacecraft. The probes journeyed to Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune before travelling out into interstellar space.

In the eventuality that intelligent Extraterrestrial or future Humans would find the probes and be curious as to their origin, NASA added two Golden Records to the spacecraft which contained images, sounds, music and greetings from Earth.

GREAT We are Fkd!! They will find us and try to rape our women. maybe men too? We might be a steak or chicken nugget to them? Why would we expose ourselves to advance technology we won't be able to defend ourselves. How do you expect us to take care and treat aliens good when we can't even take care of or treat each other good? Stupid idea to do this! @strengthnhope7 Apparently, this record was sent up in space more as a symbolic gesture than a serious attempt to contact other extra-terrestrials. This is probably why it's so optimistic.

Also, I don't think aliens would ever want to contact us if they knew we were jerks. It would be bad for tourism...

I wonder if they told the TRUTH about the human race; how violent, power hungry, war loving, prone to addictions, cruel and greedy bastards we can be...etc etc etc :) or did they paint an unrealistic picture of who we would like to be ? Look at the sadness and misrey the whole world is going through right now. We are living in a world of deception.
