Atari Explorer Online (AEO) visited the first Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) show in 1995. This annual video game conference and show is held at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). It was the last show with a strong ATARI Corporation, pushing their 64-bit JAGUAR system. SONY made its North American debut with the PlayStation. SEGA launched their SATURN to the US market. NINTENDO presented their ill-fated VIRTUAL BOY and had their ULTRA64 design in their pockets. And there was 3DO trying to motivate the industry to follow them and their M2 design. The rest is history.

I own this original VHS video tape since 1995. Main topic of this video is the ATARI JAGUAR 64-bit MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM.

The other day in early 2011 I resurrected the VHS tape and digitised it with my Pinnacle Dazzle DVC90 DivX Video Grabber and uploaded it for you guys. Enjoy almost 2 hours of retro gaming!

I've scanned the table of contents for you:

Trivia:
It took me 7 tries in 3 days to upload this 4GB video. Argh!

  • Folks, I had to remove four inappropriate and harsh comments between two users. Peace!

  • Better than IGN.

  • Anyone else suckered into buying the Jaguar back then? The games I got seemed like SNES games in their alpha stages of testing.

    What's Daniel Pesina doing there @1.15:00 ???

  • Defender 2000 in this video looks much much better than what was actually released. Oh well.

  • is this the first e3?

  • HD Camera

  • nostalgia :3

  • 9:45 The beginning of the internet!

  • 1:14:37 that's the part I was looking for! "Thea Realm of Fighters" it's a fighting game with the actors from Mortal Kombat!

  • Truly classic :) Thanks for the upload!

  • @Masterlink981 Glad to see that there are still some kids these days that play and enjoy these classics. I was only 2 at the time of this E3 conference, but I my mom had an NES and SNES so I grew up with 80s and 90s games.
