The Texas A&M College of Architectures five formally organized research centers and its Visualization Laboratory are featured in a new video, produced with funds provided by members of the Deans Advisory Council for the college.
One of the premier design research institutions in the world and the largest college of its kind in the United States, the Texas A&M College of Architecture, through its research centers, strives to improving the knowledge base of the planning, design, construction professions.
With externally funded research typically exceeding $4-5.5 million annually, college faculty and students maintain world-famous programs focusing on healthy environments, visualization, sustainability, historic preservation and hazards recovery and mitigation.
Additionally, the colleges research centers support six graduate certification programs in Sustainable Urbanism, Environmental Hazard Management, Facility Management, Health Systems and Design, Transportation Planning and Historic Preservation.
