  • whyd you take undersized fish and shoot a pickeral for no reason

  • @MrFishermen98 these fish were not undersized. there is no limit on bluegill in Florida. The Pickerel was eaten that night. Maybe you should check your information before you show your stupidity and make a fool out of yourself;)

  • Is it legal also to bowfish for chain pickeral? Never heard of that one. I live in Florida, and I lived in Keystone Heights. I have caught many a pickeral but I never shot one with a bow. Pikes are good fighting fish and strike more readily than most bass. Bass seem to be a bit smarter or more wary. And watch those pickeral TEETH. They will F you up in a hurry.

  • @JaminRebel yes it is legal because they are not a desired game fish and eat many other more valued species. I shoot pickerel, gar, mudfish(bowfin),and carp because they are very destructive on many other species. The plecostomus is a non-native fish that is also a growing problem in many rivers and lakes so they need to be annihilated but we don't not kill them we pull them from there holes and many people buy them for good money.

  • Throwing a castnet to catch freshwater fish is illegal. Also, most of your bream are very small and should not have been kept. The biggest bream is the ONLY fish that is even close to being a keeper, and most would not keep that one. You are right though, the big fish is a chain pickeral or a pike, also it is called a jack fish. Why was the jack kept? Those fish have very small bones and most people will not try to eat them. Some kill jacks because they eat more desireable gamefish.

  • @JaminRebel castnetting in freshwater is 100% LEGAL and all of the fish were eaten and all blugills and redears were very nice sized fish but they look much smaller in the video but the biggest that was next to the tape measure was 10 inches just to give you an idea of how big they are.
