U.S. President Barack Obama met today with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown at the White House. Mr. Brown is the first European leader to meet with Mr. Obama since the president took office in January. The two leaders discussed what they called the "special relationship" between Britain and the United States, as well as how to join together with other countries to create a more stable financial system.
Good. Its very heartening to see cooperation amongst friends and allies.

too bad obama cancelled the joint press conference and removed the rare bust of Winston Churchill from the Oval Office,
and gave PM Brown a set of DVDs for a gist - obama is very rude
