I saw the Banshees in 1979 around the time of 'the scream' album and several times in 1980/1981. There was a gig in 1979 at the Liverpool Royal Court Theatre just after the drummer and guitarist had left (just after 'join hands' LP} and Robert Smith from the Cure played guitar. What a great virtuoso guitar player. They were amazing at all gigs.

@Feisty1967 Yes you do, you just have to look. It may not always be on shows like Top of the Pops but it's out there. It's your job to go out and find it.

or is it about her weird life at home? read the autobiography if you can(not if you can read-get the book). fucking ace song. wish i was older and in to it then. used to love the older wanabee girls at the time but was pre pubescent so ???? was loads of spiky haired older crazy punks at middle school. no one got me then so no chance now. wow, the siouxsie lookalikes on the estate.

This is a great song, you don't get anything like this today, something orginal and different.
what i would have given to see them live in the 80's. when i was, uh, 4.
