  • you don't know what your talking about, smokey really went to bat for michael during his child molestation trial and i know he and mike were really close and you don't have to talk to someone on a day to day bases to be considered close. and as far as janet, she and mike were really close and like she said they both worked all the time so they did not talk as much AT THAT TIME.

  • wow this guy looks great for his age wow.

  • God bless you, Smokey. I agree....Michael is/was Mowtown. I personally don't believe the child molestation charges. I think Michael was abused as a child by his father. Speaking as an abused child...you don't want to do that to anyone!

  • @tommiexander so sad :( but in a way Motown will live forever through the music. I mean isn't that what most of us like to listen to today anyway? I sure don't listen to the crap, they call music, that record companies are putting out now...

  • @Thekingliveson4ever that's lovely :)

  • You can tell that Smokey is feeling the pain of Michaels' death. Smokey was the first artist of Motown and second only to Berry Gordy for being instrumental in the rise of Motown. He has seen so many of the artists and personnel of Motown who he loves like family, die. And I'm sure it has a profound affect on him. Because to him, the history making empire that he has been a major part of for most of his life, is slowly dieing out. But thank God, we still have you, Mr. Robinson!

  • @moodychick83 i so agree agree moodychick83!

  • @Thekingliveson4ever i wish i were that lucky :(

  • too clooooooooose

  • I got to meet smokey 2 times with my family. It was around 2004. He's so nice and gentle and you can see he really cares! I got a picture with him and a autographed potrait! I'm happy to say I got to meet a legend.
