This is an air display by an early bleriot aircraft on a windy day. The pilot has a hard time keeping the aircraft under control.

  • just fantastic. i have had 2 x 1/6 scale bleriots with full wing warping. the control aspect is actually quite good, but maintenance and tensioning is required, and you cant really get her beyond 45 degree bank. turns are with rudder and opposite wing warp.

  • Wonderfull pilot! Congratulation.

  • wing warper!! oh dear that guys got big balls!!

  • Isn't the commentator Raymond Baxter, ex WW2 Spitfire pilot and presenter of BBC's 'Tomorrow's World' programme?

    Excellent video btw

  • Wow. I'm not sure who has bigger balls the guys that did this in the "old days" or the modern pilot that should have known better! ;-)

  • Wonderfull plane !

    Thanks for this magic flight.
