I remember trying to get the ryno 1. The merchant sold it for 1 million bolts. And back then they didn't have bolt multipliers and stuff so it took forever

The enemies in the original are significantly less powerful than those in Going Commando, so while the original Ryno may be useful in the context of the first game, it may not do much damage to a lot of the enemies in the other games. Remember how powerless the Tesla Claw and all the other cool weapons from the first game suddenly felt in Going Commando? One shot or three from the Ryno 2 is enough to down most enemies even in challenge mode, and in the long run, it just seems a lot handier.
