One of the Jena 6 took pictures of himself with some of the money sent to him by good-hearted people hoping to contribute to his defense fund...or something...

Robert Bailey (a "Jena Six"defendant)posts a page on Myspace stuffing his mouth with hundred dollar bills he's been sent.

Pictures showed Bailey with bills in his mouth, fanned in his hands and spread across his body. As of Friday, the pictures had been taken off Myspace.com, a social networking Web site. Catrina Wallace, a relative of Bailey's, said Bailey's attorney is aware of them.

Edit: since posting this video, I've become aware that some are questioning the authenticity of the pictures being shown. If these pictures are indeed falsified in any way, I welcome any evidence to that effect. This is only fair.

Look at it this way...it gives you more reason to hate blacks...seems that when things are quiet..the usa is not happy anyways...they need something to happen to justify you have the right to hate. Instead of using your life to hate, why not see what you can do to make this world a better one...not only for the blacks....but your own race also....

Ok...so, maybe it's the lawyer in me, but all you see here is pictures.  There's no evidence of where the money came from. All of the money for the defense is sent to a fund, to my knowledge. This is one of the kids who was invited to the BET Hip Hop awards, so God only knows if he's taking pictures with money that belongs to some rapper. People, think...critically...intellige­ntly...and after you do that, read something OTHER than quality media like youtube and myspace.

Being a lawyer, you're probably familiar with the term discovery. It isn't a precise match, but I like to think of the alternative media as a great source for potential defeaters of the "official story," since the mainstream media usually adopts a template and sticks with it.

We have a multitude of people telling us different things about this story. Even members of the MSM admit that the story has been misreported on a number of important points, like the "white tree" (AP, for one). Thinking critically should involve examining all the evidence, not just what the MSM puts out.

Some items for your consideration: 1) We are all equal under the law. No one has the right to step outside of the law, or to declare himself judge, jury, and executioner. What you are referencing is no better than lynching, though not as extreme. 2) Taking money donated for legal defense and buying cars, jewelry, etc. is fraud. Apparently, these kids decided it was ok to steal the money of well-meaning people. They turned a gesture of kindness into robbery. Again, we are all equal under the law.

Hopefully people will learn from this that they should pick their causes very carefully. A group of kids with criminal records and reputations as wanna be gangstas who are being charged with a crime that was witnessed by 20 to 30 people might not be the ones to send all of that money to.

We all know that there are REAL cases of injustice out there. THOSE are the ones who need support. Or the kid who has an uphill battle but keeps his nose clean. Not guys who repeatedly violate probation.
