Roman Polanski bought this house for Sharon at 10500 Cielo drive where she and Jay wav killed august 9, 1969. The Manson family didn't even know who lived there.

The Paul bern house at 9860 Easton Drive isn't even in this video.

So before you accuse me for posting something wrong check your facts!!!

Hi mansfield! Yep, the mansion where the Tate home was is so oversized for the lot it's a joke, & it looks even worse with all the vegetation gone. All that concrete-ugh! The Tate home & grounds were far more lovely; however, I could never have lived in that house after the murders. I've wondered if the Tate home was hard to sell after the murders. On the other hand, it was occupied for over 20 yrs after the murders before it was demolished. Eeek! How could anyone sleep there at night!!??

@zevall77 Roman didn't buy it. He was in Europe working on a movie, when Sharon decided to rent it from Rudi Altobelli. She only lived there from 2 weeks prior to the murders. After that Rudi lived there with his family for many happy years. Finally he sold it (in the nineties) and now the new house stands there.

Cool video. I have no problem living alone in any one of the properties. They are all beautiful. What happened, happened. I believe in Santy Clause before I believe in spooks. Look at it this way...if there was a such thing as spooks people like OJ would be screwed! Thanks for posting!

I dont care how beautiful the property is....why would anyone want to live in the house where the manson murders happened? It would haunt me....

Firstly, Polanski RENTED the house, and after the murders,3 weeks later! the OWNER fearlessly moved right in and lived there for another 20 years after which is sold the home. Secondly, Manson did know who lived there because he visited the home looking for the previous renter ( Doris Day's son..Terry Melcher who was a music producer) but didn't care...

So before you accuse me for posting something wrong check your facts!!!
