Kyla Winters Meningitis and Kidney Transplant, KGTV

Kyla came down with meningococcemia (bacterial meningitis) in 8/09 where she was given less than 10% chance to survive. She suffered bk amputations on both legs and all 10 of her fingers were amputated. She also suffered 3 cardiac arrests as well kidney failure. One year later, after learning to walk on prosthetics and underwernt a kidney transplant from her identical twin sister, Liana, she lives to tell her tale.
