docking a tail is as in-humane as circumcising a male child. its done practically at birth, the animal is not in pain. Rottie tails are very susceptible to injury hence the docking. get over yourself

@ani415: Thank you! Bristol has turned into a beautiful girl. Everywhere we go, she gets compliments and she loves it. She is almost four years old now and 90 pounds. She loves everyone, especially children. I tell her she is a good ambassador for the breed.

Bristol is very tall and lean. I think she must have some American Rottie in her lineage somewhere. She doesn't have a big head either. She's two years old and 85 pounds now, and still very lean. The vet says she's the perfect weight for her frame. Very beautiful dog.

@rebel94m Rottweilers are excellent family pets. Bristol LOVES children and other dogs. However, they can be stubborn and they are so strong that you really need to train them properly. And they need to be exercised, otherwise they can get overweight, which isn't good for their hips or knees, and they can get bored, which isn't good for the furniture or the yard. Haha! They take a bit of work, but it is so worth it.
