Even the word Chokha isn't in Georgian so what do you mean other nations call it in different names? Chokha is Turkic\Persian word, Arkhalukhi is Arkhaliq Turkic word, Papakhi is Papaq Turkic word, Sharvali is Sharwal Arabic word, Khanjali is Khanjar Arabic word...
I have put the Georgian chokha picture as a link below check it
and how exactly Cherkezli chokha proves that it is Georgian?? LOL it is more proves that it is Circassian's
@AndyNapso As I said, other nations give it different names. Calling it Cherkehli Chokha just proves again that it originates from Georgia, but is called in the language of the nations. I don't get the point what you are arguing about .... lol
You can't ignore the fact that two nations Azeris and Russians called it Cherkesska and Cherkezli, and Azeris live close to Georgia and far away from Circassia, and with it they called it Cherkezli chokha.
the Georgian authentic chokha is with no bandoilers and the skirt is more short, this one :
h t t p : / / e n . w i k i p e d i a . o r g / w i k i / F i l e : G e o r g i a n _ c o s t u m e s . j p g
@AndyNapso How is there a contrery then with your logic .... ? There is none indeed. The original dress is the Chokha. The other countries are using a rip up of it, giving them just different names.
Circassians are not dressed like Georgians on the countrary, the Chokha is a name of three or four Georgian dresses the Kheveusr dress called Talavari, and Russians called this costume Cherkesska and Azeris called it Cherkezli Chokha (Azeri got two kind of Chokhas : Vezeneli and Cherkezli) they didn't call it Gurji (Georgian) Chokha
