The Book of Unwritten Tales Preview...
While The Book Of Unwritten Tales may have been a hit for some two years in Germany, its recent anglicisation has opened it up to a whole new world of appreciation, and it's really not hard to appreciate this game. Scattered screenshots across the web and teaser trailers don't come close to doing the visuals any justice, and from the second the introduction ends and the cinematic credits start to roll with epic reminiscence of Jim Henson's The Storyteller, you immediately sense that this journey is going to be something special...

About The Book of Unwritten Tales:
In Germany, The Book of Unwritten Tales is one of the best rated and bestselling adventure games in years. It is a great, straight-forward addition to our line up and proves our position as the leading adventure game publisher in the UK, Ireland as well as Australia and New Zealand. We're very much looking forward to releasing this great game in our territories and bringing it to the adventure gaming fans that have been waiting for an English release for so very long. Now the English version of this adventure game will finally become available", says Jason Codd, Managing Director Lace Mamba Global.

"We are delighted to cooperate with an experienced publisher like Lace Mamba Global. The Book of Unwritten Tales has always been intended for an international audience and we are pleased that finally our game can be enjoyed by adventure game fans all over the world", says Jan Theysen, Creative Director KING Art Games.

The Book of Unwritten Tales is a humorous point & click adventure homage to the RPG and fantasy genres, its books, movies and games. Filled with plenty of weird characters and dark humour, the game features four playable heroes: The little gnome Wilbur, the elf princess Ivo, a human adventurer named Nate, and The Critter, a shaggy creature that Nate adopted on one of his journeys, and hasn't stopped trotting behind him ever since. Their skills have to be used wisely, particularly those that can only be solved by working as a team.

German press critically acclaimed this adventure gaming gem. The game received twelve rartings of 90 % / 9.0 or more, the average score is 86.7 %. German magazine "PC Games" called The Book of Unwritten Tales "easily the most recommendable adventure game in years". "GameStar" stated: "This adventure tells a fantastic story with exceptional characters, lots of humour and allusions to well-known fantasy stereotypes and logical puzzles. The 3D landscapes are beautiful

  • I'm ambivalent about this, I get the refference to world of warcrafts the lich king trailer, and I get that this game is 'less serious' but... ripping off.. Come on tbh.

  • Awww cute creature!! lol
