On the 17th day of an open-ended hunger strike outside the White House, U.S. families of Camp Ashraf residents, joined by human rights advocates, demanded for the establishment of permanent UN station in Camp Ashraf, Iraq, to ensure its protection. So far 10 defenseless Iranian dissidents living in Camp Ashraf are dead, nearly 400 wounded and 36 kidnapped. The United States, as the legal protector of Ashraf residents since 2003, must intervene to prevent further bloodshed.
