ACORN is also comprised of about 350,000 members... I can say that in the past decade, Republican politicians have gone to jail for a multitude of reasons, including bribery. Does that mean it's a corrupt organization?

Reality check: Paying canvassers per registration is nothing new. Other organizations do it (including Republicans), and have the same problems. ACORN just happens to be very large, and FNC wanted to paint a picture of some scary underground communist group.

For the past ten years many of ACORN employees have gone to jail for everything from votoer fraud to identity theft and nearly everything in between. Its all part of the public record, certainly not a "lie of omission". next you will be saying that the Crypts and Bloods are just a couple of misunderstood community organizing groups. Gimme a Break

As for the difference, it's clear. The whole story about ACORN and voter fraud is manufactured out of a lie of omission. It's publicly documented.

Maxine Waters is genuinely corrupt. It's fairly well documented. Whether it appears that way or not from media coverage, she is actually corrupt.

One is corrupt, the other is not. Media coverage aside, a fairly important distinction.

Yes, I'm defending ACORN. They do turn in all the fraudulent forms. How do you think the media found out about fraudulent registration forms? ACORN makes it very clear how they operate.

The evidence is that ACORN receives fraudulent registration forms. What is not explained in the media (since it makes for a boring story), is that ACORN is the one exposing the fraudulent forms for the election committees. Damn, even McCain spoke at ACORN events.

Whats the difference? are you defending Acorn? Are you sure they turn all fraudulent registration forms, or just the obvious ones like Mickey Mouse and the Dallas Cowboys roster? I believe the evidince is in on ACORN and I think everyone knows what they are all about

Actually, ACORN has nothing to do with voter fraud. You mean registration fraud. By law, ACORN has to turn in ALL registration forms, so they hand in the fraudulent ones in a separate pile for the election committee to dispose of.

That being said, Maxine Waters is extremely corrupt. It's well documented how she helps herself financially through her office.
