Why are you hearing that 6 out of 9 SC justices are Catholic from us and for the first time? Well, evidence would suggest you don't watch the media very much. Or aren't interested in the makeup of the Supreme Court.

And, nope - we don't exagerate. There are 6 Catholic Supreme Court Justices. Not five or less. Hence, we are not exagerating!

Let us pray that those in the African Continent may hold strong. If they hold out against the vile US death temptations and the US continues in it's culture of death at home, in about a generation Africa that cherishes her children will have nations that will be world powers while the US becomes 3rd world. It' s no coincidence B16 made Africa a focal point early in his pontificate. I think your right Michael, we are coming upon an age of US martyrs.

Unfortunately most church leaders, if they share this view, do not share it.

To the contrary, most of the USCCB seems to champion the Obama administration.

I get the sinking feeling that most of our bishops are democrat/socialists first, and pro-life & everything else second. How I wish I were wrong on this point.

It's really time to pray, hope and not worry. How sad that most Americans don't know how often when money is given, there are very heavy strings attached. It is horrible. And we don't even know the half of what's going on.
