See so many BAD tutorials on how to bleach and tone your own hair out there right now give very WRONG info.. I think a double process blonde should be done in the salon by a really good pro, but I think do-it-at-home people should at least know some viable tips so they don't melt their hair off or end up ugly and brassy! question what color blonde do you recoment for people with medium?dark skin tone cool understone

Everybody is certainly different with what shade will look best on them because of underlying tone.  That being said, dark skin and cool undertones would look better with a darker blonde toner....beige in a mix of cool and warm can be very flattering for your skin type!

is it really poss to achieve a creamy block colour off blonde? i wish i hadnt off started gettn an all over done... once i wash my hair brassy and slight yellowish tones come through!

Yes it really is possible to obtain a beautiful creamy blonde. If I can do it on a manni with all kinds of mixed coarse hair on it...so can you! The reason your hair has the yellow or brassy cast is because it wasn't lightened enough for the toner to do its work!

Great tutorial...very detailed and explanatory...the best I've seen! Like you said, there are so many bad tutorials on YouTube in regards to bleaching hair. If people are dead set on doing it at home, at least you have given them an excellent reference!

Great video, please upload more! How long did you leave this on the head for? Ive only used purple based toners by Redken (yuck) and schwarzkopf, and I just worked into the hair till i started seeing the purple tones and rinse out.

i bleached my hair out to that color and bought princess blonde.. thank God! I didnt have anyone to help me choose..I feel reassured now because I ordered it but didnt get it yet but now Im glad I picked the right color.

Thank you for putting this up. I have been doing my hair for 10 years as I simply couldn't afford to have my professional do it as I am male with short hair (and he is excellent) and can usually split any formula in half. hi, i just stumbled upon this exquisite video. i just lightened my hair with l'oreal HiColor in gold shimmer for base and Hicolor Hilights in Ash blonde for highlights. I guess like you have mentioned in your previous comments, I didn't LIGHTEN enough for the color to deposit and tone. My hair is now honey with a lot of orange brass. I originally had dark brown hair. How in the world do you bleach the dark brown hair to be THAT light? I ouldnt even get it to light brown without getting orange.

Great advice! DESPERATE! My hair is dyed blonde/long, with 2 diff demarc lines because color not matched properly at salon. I used color remover & re-dyed w/Lor. #9 Bld Moon Beam. Most hair turned out beautiful, but 3" fr. root is orange. I tried 'Brass Blaster' & it removed some pretty blonde, left orange on top (the 3 " fr root). What toner formula can I use to fix the orange & make bottom a pretty blo? Should I re-dye using the Lt Blonde again & use a toner on top? Help. TY!!
