i dont have any "stereo mix" just analog mix...is that the same thing?

It might work, select that, then do a test video and see whether that works. Stereo Miz, Mono Mix, and Wave Out Mix I know work, I don't know about analog mix, so I can only suggest for you to try using it.

How can I find volume control? I don't have it on the Taskbar.

Go to the control panel, then find the Sound applet, then open it and on one of the tabs there should be an option to show the icon on the taskbar.
