the earliest known footage of Slade filmed on Euston station london in April 1969 to promote their 1st album Beginnings this ultra rare Slade footage deserves to be seen by all. Uploaded to persuade a DVD release of Slade un-released archive footage and promo videos that are missing from the very best of Slade DVD instead of re-released Slade audio material that Slade fans have already got. We would like to see something old new borrowed and blue footage please Slade you know it exists and so do we a full on Slade DVD from 1969-1991 with bonus "Live" footage would sell thousands of units and give the band and it's loyal fans something to show for their achievements and put to bed the popular notion that Slade are only bought out with the mince pies at Christmas anybody would think the band are ashamed of their achievements instead of being LOUD AND PROUD.

  • Very early footage of our boyz and very moving for me. Greatest band EVER. Bless ya for posting. More?

  • fantastic, thank you!

  • @TheShotgunslade

Must agree with most of your comment Shotgun but, I don't think Slade will ever be forgotten by the masses. Genius and quality live on and The Mighty Slade will live on and on because of it. Chas would say Slade were like a breath of fresh air and every now and then they will be discovered by new generations who will soon be saying the same thing.

As you say, God bless em forever.

    Regards, BM

  • Just four young men who came, saw and conquered and sadly today are all but forgotten by the masses. Many times critics have claimed that SLADE were cringeworthy, but in over forty years of fan worship there is only one thing about them that will ever make me cringe and that will be the back slapping and crocodile tears by the press and music industry when they hear that they are gone. Always remember true genus is rarely appreciated in its own life time.God Bless em forever.

  • Great upload! "this ultra rare footage......". Not anymore! Its been put on Youtube!

However, nothing wrong with that. Just that it looses it rare status somewhat......Great in some ways..disappointing in others (e.g. if you are a collector).

  • I got some rebbish DCD with seemingly noone much interested in the band and none of them Id hard of talking all over the tracks - looking vaguely oficial - big shame - cheers for this

  • Superb good old SLADE you can't beat them.

  • Noice one GAZZA :)) babyhippo...

  • nice one ......love it
