These are my first four jumps (not on the same day) taken at SkyVenture Orlando. A huge thanks to all the staff (specially jumps 3 and four instructor Pali). I recommend everyone to try this at least once, you will love it. Also, watch it through the end, I improve a lot on my third and fourth jumps (still horrible, but much better than the first two).

  • i love this video and i will definitely go to the wind tunnel to enhance my flying skills as im having difficulties in freefall by spinning a lot....Once i do some tunnel time then i will go back and finish up my jumps and get my A license...My instructors highly recommended me the tunnel:)

  • Yeah, with a double session on the tunnel you'll get that fixed for sure. You are probably having an issue with either not keeping your torso lined up, or one of your legs bent more than the other.

  • Why would this be better than skydiving?

  • First, they are two different things. Its like comparing Go-karting with Nascar racing. Second, the wind tunnel is a great place to practice, because you don't have to concern yourself with COA (altitude, primarily). Third, its cheaper. Its best to pay for two sessions on the tunnel and do your AFF jump properly, than trying to learn on the real thing.

  • That's awesome! Skyventure first, skydiving after that!

  • Very Nice Congrads.....

  • hey im going to the tunnel tomorrow for a 15 min block with a coach...then im gonna go back to skydiving sat and sun!

  • Your arms don't hurt because you are lighter, therefore, you need less wind to keep you flying. For a heavy guy like me, its an effort keeping your arms down, because the torrent of wind coming your way is much stronger.

  • Yeah, that's Pali you see in the third and fourth jumps... Very serious guy, but if you ask for some help, he's very helpful...

  • Nice, I did this exactly a year ago with the instructor Pali... Dunno if he took your session but its really cool in that wind tunnel. I also have a DVD of my dives and with the same background music. :D
