IDE 500Gb Seagate HDTune Test

I have a ST3500630A Barracuda from Seagate in my HDD-Player and i will run a HDtune test over it...

It has 3 partitions, one for music, the second for pictues and videos and the last is space for all files and backups.

What program did you use to edit your video? Just wondering.

there just cheap programs: Hypercam 2 to record the test and Windows movie maker to do the rest

Try camstudio I use it check my vids great quality set it up and set res to 1280x720 in win start program or restart to make sure it works right if you change resolution. Then do the same editing and rendering.

I have one of the same exact drives. but its not external. One day i went to boot up the pc it was in, and at the boot logo it said "ST3500630A ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !" and windows failed to boot. I stuck it into another PC ind it was in PIO mode. It was VERY slow. Is there something possibly wrong with the drive that i couldn't fix you think?

it doesn´t work with usb... but how can i do it in a pc? i have many seagates running in pcs

seagate dirves has a programme called seatools for tuning drive with slient, normal and performance pressets.
