  • No online shopping for me! The hunt for rare games is much more exciting than paying over the odds for a parcel through the post! I prefer to scout all the shops I know and keep returning every month or so to rummage around.

  • I prefer all my games to be complete, but that is really hard to do with NES, SNES, and GBA. For games on discs, they have to be complete.

One thing I really hated about collecting games from last gen was how horribly scratched up many games are. WTF do people do with their games? Is it so hard to put it in the case when you're done with it?

  • I Really Dont Mind! Whatevers Cheapest.

  • i like my games boxed i dont care much for extras like spine cards of catalouges but i do like to hav the manual

  • When it comes to carts, I only go for carts, anything else is a nice plus, but I won't keep it in the case, cause my carts are together on the shelf.

When it comes to Sega Saturn, only complete, unless its super cheap or I just really want to buy it. *Could print out a dvd case sleeve thing. When it come to DC, I like everything, but a good game is a good game.

Okay, when it comes to Last and this gen, I like full, and usually steer clear from game only. How do you lose that stuff for a DSgame?

  • I would like a complete game, if it is at all possible. I have pretty realistic expectations, and a tight budget, so I don't mind going through Goozex or eBay to get a loose item first waiting for the complete. That's really if I only have a sudden urge to play something, otherwise I satisfy myself with what I have until I come across a good deal for a complete version.

For PC games I just take what I can get. The big boxes from up until 6 or so years ago tend to have been tossed by most.

  • Wow I'm the opposite, apart from NES games, I hate to buy cartridges loose because they look so shit on the shelf haha

  • I mainly only get games that I want to play. Having them in mint condition discourages me from playing them; I got a copy of Sutte Hakkun for Super Famicom that doesn't have a box or anything, but the connectors don't even have a scratch on them. As such, I haven't even stuck it in my Super Famicom. Maybe someday I'll get another copy. :P

But as for boxes, I don't care much, and manuals are nice, but not necessary. And I never buy rare games just for the sake of owning rare games.

  • For carts, I just get the cart. If it's N64, I try to get the manual since I have all of the ones I got new when they first came out. I try to get my carts in very good condition unless it was a really good price.

For discs, I get everything since it's easier to find them.

  • If it's a Disc, I prefer a case. With a Cart, I don't care.
