Hinchinbrook Island National Park, and the several small surrounding islands, are one of tropical North Queensland's most picturesque spots. Located between Townsville and Cairns, the area is home to beautiful sandy beaches, dense island forests, mangroves, mountains and crystal clear waters. What more can you ask for.
In August 2009, several mates and I hired a houseboat for a week to explore and enjoy this little piece of Australian paradise. We explored the Northern end of Hinchinbrook island and the several islands to the north. An adventure in the making.

Thanks mate. Yeh most times a tripod is used, though I handheld the camera quite a bit for all the mangrove scenes. Keeping a wide angle shot helps reduce shake a lot. :-)

A very beautiful place, maybe one to go on my must visit list.
And a very nicely edited video. Good quality and no camera shake. Do you always use a tripod?
