At the 2012 SHOT Show, Springfield has debut was is sure to be a big seller: the new XDS pistol. The XDS takes the proven XD platform and slims it down to a single stack for maximum concealability while still chambering a .45 ACP for best stopping power. The small XDS is still very controllable when doing double taps.

@bkendrick52 The XDS is about a half inch shorter and 1.8 oz heavier than the Kahr, not 9.3oz. XDS 21.5 oz -- Khar CW45 19.7 oz

The XDS is similar in almost all dimensions as the Kahr CW45, except weight and price. The Kahr weighs 9.3 oz less, costs $360, and looks cooler. Why choose the XDS?
