How to Fix a PS3 EBOOT.BIN to work on Lower Firmware [HD]

Here is a little tutorial on how to use the new EBOOT_FIX tool made by deank, the creator of Multiman Backup Manager.

This allows you to run games that need a 3.56 firmware to run on your 3.55 CFW.

This will not work on 3.60 games like Portal 2, you need the 3.60 keys and they have not been released yet.
This program allows you to also make pkg files so you can run PS3 games right from the XMB like a PSN game.

What you will need:
1) A PS3 on CFW 3.55
2) A Backup of a Game that will not Run on 3.55
3) This file, Muliman EBOOT_FIX

You also need to modify the games PARAM.SFO so that reads 3.55
You can do this with PARAM editor or do it the easy way and use Multiman backup manger and it will do it automatically for you

Use the Newest Multiman and use the updater, it will find the newest update for your CoD Game.It will download the .pkg and you can install it. Once you update the game, use CAFM or Multimans file manager, istall your CoD Mod Menu adn then use the Data Transfer to transfer to your Legit PS3, the hack and update will be transfered too.

ok pal vid wz good but i have a question...is it necessary to install multiman in ps3 cuz i have gaia manager in it.now i got dirt 3 and i cant update it.can't i use this on gaia manager?plz reply.

dirt 3 will not work, it is a 3.60 game

To all people looking to fix PS3 games with 3.60 there is no way yet. I tried to fix Deus ex human with this Eboot fix and "DON'T WORK" This game required 3.60 update can't get fix. I am tired of spending hours downloading games that at the end can't be played it sucks. I will keep with XBOX 360 you can flash your console and all games will work warranty. Never got a problem with games. Lets hope one day a really good hack comes up for PS3 and stop all this non sense .

I need help if u read this please help me :( i am on my jailbroken ps3 on 3.55 and i cant seem to update my games i need this so i can go into comgenies ausome file manager and download my cod hacks into them to host lobbies by data transfer but i need the bless on comgenies but it wont let me update for the game data utility so i cant get new patches for my cods :( anyone help pleeease :(
