Daytona beach Tornado

July 24th, 2009
This is the water spout that started in Ormond beach, Florida.
I got this on camera from the view of the condo i was staying at with my friends.
The water spout turned into a tornado as it went down the beach more.
4 more tornados started in daytona beach.

it was Scary, and cool at the same time.
Cool because i got to witnessed this.

at 0:16 there was a rainbow above the water

I wonder if a water spout tornado can do as much as a regular tornado. Can it move to land?

i was there a few weeks before this last year, im shocked they don't have one of these water spouts everyday, it seems everyday between 4-5pm a twister rips through for 20mins then goes back to being sunny and humid as hell

i was there vacationing with my cousins!! i live in clearwater but we wer vacationing in daytona beach and it was sooo scary!! i heard about the water spout on the news.. there was a ton of hail though!! we were staying in a condo by hawaiian inn. i was looking out the window when i was taking a shower and i saw a shelf cloud and i was so scared.. lmao :D
