The fascination of counting my catch still hasn't worn off yet so I actually look foward to every few days dumping my catch through a paper towel to check out what and how many I'm catching. But when this curiousity wears off (maybe next year), I'll consider that clever idea. BTW, I add a tablespoon of fruit juice (Cranrasberry) to my soapy water. Working great. I use no scent attractants. Just that water.
We could use velcro to hold that curtain open though when chaning. I discarded door.

@tom0702x My first year I gleefully enjoyed seeing all the dead mosquitos at water changing time. The thrill does wear off as you mature into a seasoned mosquito killer. You get numb to the routine massacre of these blood suckers. Sometimes I think I need to find my humanity again :-)
I also use some sweetener for the water. I generally just use whatever is on hand (partially drunk and put back in fridge). Not sure what works best as I figure too many seasonal variables to measure accurately.
