  • How can you have seen the Invisible Children movie and you still don't believe our country should get involved? Yes, I've read all you've had to say about economy, politics, and the counrty being stretched thin, but there are children dying!! Individuals can contribute a lot, but unless our goverment steps in to stop this war more children will die. That's it. To me all of those arguments are just excuses not to get invovled. I completely agree with this video.

  • Well said!

  • Yeah, well this is the land of opportunity, people here can make a difference, change their lives, however slow and long that might take them. The people and children over there HIDEEE. They hide from rebel armies who brutally murder hundreds and thousands. And where in Los Angeles is that??? Oh wait....

  • Yeah, thats why the stock markets are hitting all time highs. Man, you have some great sources on information, not!

And They are kids, how in the hell do you expect them to defend themselves against and AK-47??

Someone else has to come help them.

And Wal-Mart creates jobs and keeps the markets competitive, everything a capitalist society needs, moron.

  • Americans need someone to speak for them. George Bush doesnt represent America. If we truly had someone EVERYONE liked. Even minorities, USA could truly be the greatest country in the world. It is up to the citizens to help the government. It is up to the people to elect the president, governors, mayors, etc. Once people know how to use their power, then the world is gonna be a better place.

  • Iraq and Afganistan has gotten worse ? That cant be right

They are free just some still choose to hide there face or stick with there religion.

  • Stop comparing this to Iraq or Afghanistan. This isn't anything similar.

    Stop making excuses and help!

  • i do not object to helping these people, neither do i think its stupid to. its philanthropic and it upholds the values that america lauds as what makes our country great, but our governement has its limits and i beleive there are certain things that america, politically, needs to keep its nose out of. this being on of them. as individuals, great, knock yourselves out. do what you can to help those people.

  • this is your opinion and your beleif, if you beleive this is the most pressing cause to fight for, do as you please. i am in no position to barr you from proceding to help these unfortuante people, i am, however, a tax paying citizen and the entire countrys debt, economy, and political situations affect my life and ever other citizens life as well. should the government hop in on this and perhaps stretch itself beyond its limits, america as a whole will feel it. both supporters and naysayers.

  • if i can make a difference in one persons life, be it a smile, or happy day, I'll take it, even if it seems minute to the proportion.

Because I know what it feels like, for a stranger to help you on a bad day, or when everything feels horrible u see a light of hope. I choose to help no matter how great or futile it might seem.
