That last pic pretty much sums Asuka and Shinji's relationship. THIS would've actually happened if the context was fairly ordinary, people! ;-)

I praise the show for being unique in having well developed characters who stray from typical archetypes and instead deconstruct them as they are stunning portrayals in the darker side of the human psyche (far from the cliched anime hero archetypes like the characters from DBZ, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho and such). But damn, some part of me wishes the franchise were happier and the characters were not as damaged.

Ah, Shinji an Asuka: the very picture of "mad love". Sure, their relationship will never be healthy, but yeah, they're the best each other can do!

here there and every where I collected them for about a year as wallpaper, and then i found out i could make slide shows, but photobucket is a good place to look.
